I don't really know-I have a lot of friends with whom I've lost contact and a lot of friends with whom I remain in regular contact. Most of the ones who I lost contact with were high school friends-haven't kept up with the class as much as I should. At the moment, I'm not really planning at all. None of us have had cost of living pay increases or merit pay increases in years-the increases in cost of living have eaten up any monies that could have been set aside. Long term planning will mostly be based on projected retirement income and inheritances.

For me, it's typewriters. Got a used IBM Selectric II in excellent working order off Craigslist for $75. Buying a reconditioned Selectric II from a dealer would have been $600 USD.

Simple. I stay home and call in. Might as well draw on the paid sick leave that I have built up.

There should be no limitation to the President's ability to pardon. There are too many mitigating factors that must be considered and can only be considered if the President has the full latitude afforded them to do what is best for the people involved and ultimately, the country as a whole.

I keep it in perspective and remember that there are a lot of people who are having worse days than I. I may not be happy, but at least I'm not being sued, stalked or threatened with bodily harm. I leave work at work and enjoy my family, friends and pets.
